FAQs
How often do you breed your females?
We breed our mamas 1 to 4 times as long as everything goes PERFECTLY during her pregnancy and birth and on the advice of my reproductive veterinarian Dr Hudman. Guardian home mamas are bred a maximum of 4 times but usually only 1 - 3 times, depending on the mama. It is rare for me to breed a guardian home mama more than 2 times. Here is a seminar and speech by respected reproductive veterinarian Dr Hutchison, DVM with Gooddog, explaining the benefits of breeding while the mama is young (but breeding mature, usually 2nd or 3rd heat cycle) and back to back for the healthiest outcome of the mama and babies. According to research, the healthiest female is not the one who is spayed early and never whelps puppies. The healthiest for a female is to reach breeding maturity (18months - 2 years) or at least her 2nd heat cycle and then carry, deliver and nurse 4-5 litters maximum and then be spayed before the age of 5, preferably by age 4. Studies show, just like in humans, the female like that will have less chance of cancer, diabetes, pyometra and other chronic and deadly diseases that shorten their lifespan.
If my life changes suddenly, can I return my puppy/older dog?
Yes. We will help find a new wonderful home for your puppy. We always want to make sure that our puppies are in loving homes who take excellent care of them. We understand that life sometimes throws curve balls at families and forces them to make hard decisions. In that case, we will be there to help.
Do you offer a Health Guarantee?
Yes. We offer a 2 year Health Guarantee against any congenital defects currently testable by embark dna tests. Our detailed full contract outlines our policies.
Do you ship your puppies?
If you are out of state, you must fly or drive into Phoenix to pick up your puppy. We can meet you at the airport or you may come to our home. Puppy’s can join you on the airplane in an approved airline carrier and sit on your lap or under the seat in front of you. I provide all veterinary health certificates needed to fly with your puppy. It is very easy to fly with your puppy.
Do you early spay/neuter your puppies?
We do not early spay/neuter our goldendoodle puppies, believing that dogs need some of those hormones to grow properly. We do have a spay/neuter contract that the health guarantee is contingent upon. You MUST email us your puppy’s Spay or Neuter vet receipt by his/her 1 year birthday. Our puppies are sold as PETS and we will NOT allow breeding our dogs without our knowledge.
Do you offer Breeding Rights?
We do occasionally offer Breeding Rights on certain puppies only to approved breeding programs only. We have worked hard to build our successful breeding program of beautiful, health tested dogs and as such we hope that others are respectful of our hard work by adhering to our “breeding rights” policies. If the buyer does not adhere to our breeding rights policy, we will pursue legal action for the breeding rights fee.
Do you remove dewclaws?
We no longer remove dewclaws from our puppies.
What vaccines and dewormings do puppies receive before going home?
All puppies receive their first distemper/parvo vaccinations at 7 weeks. They all get their shots and full health checks with our vet before going home with you. They are also dewormed every two weeks, starting at two weeks. Included in your puppy packet will be a list of their next due vaccinations and deworming schedule your puppy will need at their next vet visit with you.
Where are the puppies raised?
Our mother’s give birth inside our home and all of our puppies are delivered into our hands and loved from that moment on. We are very involved in the handling of the puppies from birth, giving them lots of socialization and attention throughout their time with us.

When can we pickup our puppy or when will he/she be delivered?
The puppies are ready or go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. Arrangements need to be made to pickup the puppy within 3 days after the puppy turns 8 weeks old. If the puppy needs to stay with us longer than 8 1/2 weeks due to new owner’s pickup schedule, we charge $15.00/ day, this does not include the fee of extra immunizations or de-wormings if necessary. We will never let a puppy leave our home before it’s ready. If certain puppies need a little longer here, we will arrange that with you free of charge.
